MEET THE 20/21 TEAM

Devena is in her fourth year of Honours Life Sciences and can't wait to (virtually) connect with all of you amazing LifeScis! She enjoys dancing 💃, singing 🎤, and musical theatre, along with with reading and creative writing ✍️!

Calvin is in his fourth year of Honours Life Sciences, his interests include trying new cuisines 🥘, exploring trails 🚴‍♂‍, listening to all kinds of music 🎶, playing the piano 🎹, & watching sports ⚽️(#Gooners). Currently, he is attempting to learn Spanish and the guitar.

Sumaya is in her fourth year of Honours Life Sciences. She enjoys travelling, watching TV shows, and cooking. She is really excited to meet everyone and is looking forward to a fun year even with it being virtual! 🛩️

Sophie is in her fourth year of Honours Life Science. She loves to travel, explore new things, and spend time with friends and family. She is so excited to be a part of the LSS this year and to meet and connect with more people in the life science community! 🌍

Abi is in her third year of Honours Biology and Pharmacology Co-op. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, singing, and watching TV. She is excited to be a part of the team and looks forward to connecting with other students virtually this year! 🎤

Zara is in her third year of Honours Life Sciences. She is excited to connect with other students and is looking forward to a great year! ☺️

Arthiga is in her 4th year of Honours Life Science. She’s got loads of love for the Mac family and her pets, Royce and twix🐶🐱! She’s eager to tell you guys all about them, so please don’t be shy!

Alicia is going into her third year of Honours Life Sciences. Her hobbies include travelling, baking and playing with her puppy! She is looking forward to meeting everyone at events and connecting virtually! 👩🍳

Hashim is in his fourth year of Honours Biology and PNB, he enjoys all kinds of sports 🏀 and outdoor activities as well as travelling. He is really excited to meet everyone, host fun social events and to end off the year with a bang💥

Luxiga is in her third year of Honours Chemical Biology. In her free time, she enjoys baking 🍰, watching TV shows 🎬 and travelling ✈. She is looking forward to making the best out of the online semester and helping students connect with each other and with the Life Science Society!

Rachel is going into her third year of Life Science - Sensory Motor Systems! She loves to cook, watch movies, and is looking forward to connecting with other Life Science students this upcoming year! 👨🍳

Armstrong is in his second year of Honours Life Sciences - Origin of Diseases Specialization. He loves to swim, cook, and listen to varieties of music (also likes learning to play them on guitar), and is very excited to meet all of the Life Science students. (hopefully in-person soon!)

Melissa is in her fourth year of Honours Health & Society. In her free time, she loves listening to music and watching movies. She is excited to connect with other students and make the most out of the virtual school year! 🎶

Saad is in his fourth year of Honours Life Sciences. His interests include fitness 🏋🏽♂️, politics 🗣, sports ⚽️, and travelling 🌎. He’s excited to help lead a great peer mentorship experience for lower-year students in the life sciences!

Gurleen is in her third year of Honours Life Sciences. In her free time, she enjoys dancing, hanging out with friends and watching Netflix! She is looking forward to connecting with more Life Science students and is excited to host events for the LSS Mentorship Program! 💃

Surangah will be your 4th year rep for 2020-2021 and is so excited to have a lit year with y’all (even though it’s virtual). She is still optimistic that we'll end it off w some banger events as we gotta go all out for our final year! #BigUpClassOf2021😜

Nicole is in her third her of Honours Life Sciences. She is looking forward to virtually meeting everyone and is so excited to be your third year rep! Some of her interests include global health, politics, and referencing TikToks! 💃

Amal is going into her second year of Honours Life sciences. Some of her hobbies include writing (mostly poetry), travelling/going on new adventures, and spending time with her two cats. ✈️

Celina is a first-year student in the life sci gateway, and she is deeply interested in studying the environment. She is excited to be able to be a part of the LSS as a first year rep, and to plan fun activities for the student body.
