Amal Khan

Co-President

Amal is in her fourth year of Honours Life Sciences and is super excited for a bright year ahead! Her LSS journey began as a second-year representative, then as VP Fundraising, and now looks forward to leading a strong executive team as Co-President. Outside of academics, she enjoys writing, travelling and spending time in nature. She hopes to help students become more involved in the McMaster community through mentorship, research and advocacy.

Co-President

Amaani is in her third year of Honours Life Science, and is very excited to be your Co-President for this year! She previously held the role of VP Communications, and enjoys travelling, riding, and meeting new people :) She is so excited for another year with the LSS and for all the amazing events planned this year.

Jaime Harris

VP Admin

Jaime is in her fourth year of Honours Life Sciences, and is so excited to be a part of this wonderful team as the VP Admin! When she is not busy studying, she loves to read, go to the gym, or bake. Anika Kina Kudaka

VP Communications

Anika is in her second year of Honours Life Sciences, minoring in Business, and is thrilled to be VP Communications this year. Mitali Chopra

VP Marketing

Mitali is in her 4th year of Honours Life Sciences, and she is so excited to be part of the LSS this year! She is super excited to run the social media accounts this year and connect with you all :) Mitali loves working out, reading, and watching TikToks, and spends a lot of her time on campus! Jessica Schneider

VP Academic

Jessica is in her fourth year of Honours Life Sciences and is excited to be part of the LSS team for another year! When she is not in the lab or studying, she loves to bake, hike, and going out for brunch! Ahmad Bilal

VP Academic

Ahmad is in his third year of the Honours Life Sciences program. He is super excited to be a part of the LSS for another year, this time as the VP Academic! In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball, working out, and watching movies. He is looking forward to meeting everyone at all the fantastic LSS events this year. Pierce Razzaque

VP Social

Pierce is in 5th and final year of Honours Life Sciences, minoring in Psychology. As one of the VP Socials, he is excited to return to the LSS for another year and continue to connect with all the awesome LifeSci students! He is also looking forward to helping plan + run exciting events for the LSS this year! In his free-time, some activities he enjoys are tennis 🎾, piano, cooking, streaming shows (mainly Sci-fi and K-dramas) and photography 📷. Mehtab Mahal

VP Social

Mehtab is in her 4th and final year of Honours Life Sciences, and is very excited to join LSS as one of the VP Socials this year. She looks forward to connecting with all the amazing and hardworking LifeSci students from all years and organising fun social events for them. Alongside her studies, Mehtab loves swimming, hiking, watching movies/shows and travelling. Annaba Tasnia

VP Finance

Annaba is in her second year of the Honours Psychology, Neuroscience & Behavior Program, and is beyond excited to be the VP Finance this year. In her free time, you can find her hanging out with friends, watching shows, and trying out new baking recipes. Asha is in her third year of Honours Life Science, and is very excited to be the VP fundraising for this year. In her spare time, she loves to cook, play soccer, binge watch a new Netflix series, or hang out with her friends. Academic Outreach Coordinator

Athena is in her second year of Honours Molecular Biology and Genetics and is very excited to be joining the Life Science Society as Academic Outreach Coordinator! She enjoys reading, drinking coffee and musicals! She is looking forward to working with a great team, and connecting with other Life Science students at events!

Manraj Virk

Manraj is in his fourth year of Life Sciences. He is looking forward to being a part of the LSS Academic Team for another year as the Academic Logistics Coordinator. He enjoys working out, poetry, and Formula 1 in his free time. He looks forward to meet everyone and helping out other Life Sciences students.

Maheen is in her fourth year of the Honours Life Sciences program. She is incredibly excited to apply the knowledge she has obtained over the years to coordinate the Life Sciences Peer Mentorship Program! Maheen understands the importance of mentorship and is optimistic in facilitating beneficial mentee/mentor relationships to create a positive and welcoming community. Origins of Disease Representative

Elizabeth is in her second year of Honours Life Science Origins of Disease and is looking forward to being this year’s OOD rep! She enjoys spending her time watching movies, reading, and is probably trying her best not to burn her kitchen down as we speak. She looks forward to meeting everyone this year and is always available to lend an ear and chat!

Mikayla Robinson

Sensory Motor Systems Representative

Mikayla is in her third year of Honours Life Science Sensory Motor Systems and minoring in Sustainability. She is thrilled to be involved and help host some specialization and life science wide events this year. Mikayla loves to hike the bruce trail, and has done over 200km of it so far. Daniel Robinson

First Year Representative

Daniel is in his first year of the Life Sciences Gateway program and is overjoyed to be the First Year Representative for the 2022-2023 school year! Coming from a small town up north, Daniel enjoys exploring this new city and appreciates the warm weather that comes along with it. In his free time, if he is not listening to music, he is most likely out on a nature walk. Breanna Khameraj

Second Year Representative

Breanna is in her second year of Honours Life Science, and she is delighted to be the Second Year Representative this school year! Breanna enjoys reading a range of novels, creating art, and watching anime in her spare time. Some of her interests include travelling, learning about the human body as well as keeping physically active. One fun fact about Breanna is that she met the CEO of Krispy Kreme while visiting the Scarborough location. Don't hesitate to connect with Breanna concerning any questions you may have!

Kamran Khan

Third Year Representative

Kamran is in his third year of Honours Life Sciences and is thrilled to be our Third Year Representative for the 2022-2023 school year! In Kamran's free time, he likes to work out, build fast cars, and do woodwork. He is also always open to conversation and loves meeting new people. Arina is in her fourth year of Honours Life Sciences, and she is beyond excited to be the Fourth Year Representative this year! Fatima is in her third year of Honours Biology minoring in Classics and is very excited to create content for the LSS as a Cinematographer. Talal Siddiqui

Talk Show Host

Talal is in his fourth year of Honours Life Sciences and is looking toward a fun year as a Talk Show Host and engaging with students. He enjoys all kinds of sports, including soccer, cricket, and wrestling and is part of ongoing research with the Six Nations of The Grand River. Anumta is in her second year of Honours Chemical Biology and is excited to be a part of the LSS for the first time. In her free time, she enjoys simple activities such as baking, reading, and biking with friends. She is super pumped to meet everyone and to provide some fun content this year.
