Kamran Khan

Co-President

Kamran is currently in his fourth year of Honours Life Sciences and is excited for the promising year ahead. Having started his LSS journey as a third-year representative, he is now thrilled to lead a dynamic executive team as Co-President. Beyond his academic pursuits, Kamran channels his interests into building cars on his YouTube Channel, working out at the gym, and volunteering with youth groups. His overarching goal is to facilitate increased student participation within the McMaster community. Amaani Khan

Co-President

Amaani is in her fourth year of Honours Life Sciences and is super excited to be returning as Co-President this year!! She started with the LSS in her second year as VP Communications, and is so pumped to lead another strong and dedicated team of execs! In her free time, she loves travelling, riding, baking, and meeting new people :) She can’t wait for one last year with the LSS and for all of the wonderful events planned <3!

Megan Klose

VP Admin

Megan is in her third year in Honours PNB, and she is so excited for the upcoming year! This is her first year with LSS, and she can’t wait to get to know everyone. When Megan isn’t busy with school work, she loves playing guitar, reading, and tending to her (many) plants. She looks forward to connecting with other life science students, so don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions :)

Anika Kina Kudaka

VP Communications

Anika is in her third year of Honours Life Sciences (Co-op), is minoring in Business, and is thrilled to be your VP of Communications for another year! Outside of her studies, Anika loves powerlifting and playing sports like basketball and volleyball. Danielle Dagher

VP Marketing

Danielle is in her fourth year of Honours Life Sciences and is excited to be the VP of Marketing this year! When Danielle isn’t busy with schoolwork, she loves to cook and bake during her free time. She plans on keeping the McMaster community up to date on all the fun activities the LSS has planned for this year. Aisha Ahmad

VP Academic

Aisha is in her fourth year of the Honours Life Sciences program and is thrilled to be VP Academic this year! In her free time, she loves travelling, reading, going to the gym, and meeting new people. She looks forward to meeting you all at the exciting events we have planned for this year. Ahmad Bilal

VP Academic

Ahmad is in his fourth year of the Honours Life Sciences program. He is super excited to be back on LSS as the VP Academic! Lauren Beck

VP Social

Lauren is in her fourth and final year of Honours Life Sciences, and is very excited to be joining the social time for a second year! When she is not on campus, Lauren loves going to the gym, spending time with her animals, or to the beach with friends! VP Social

Bianca is in her third year of Honours Life Science - Sensory Motor Systems and is looking forward to returning to the LSS for the 2023-2024 school year! Bianca will be one of the VP Socials this year and is excited to plan and meet you all at our amazing social events. Annaba Tasnia

VP Finance

Annaba is in her third year of the Honours Psychology, Neuroscience & Behaviour Program, and is beyond excited to be the VP Finance again for this year. She is stoked to plan fun socials and events with the rest of the LSS team for all life science students to enjoy. In her free time, you can find her hanging out with friends, watching shows, and trying out new baking recipes. Asha Mundi

VP Fundraising

Asha is currently in her fourth year of Honours Life science. This will be her second year of VP Fundraiser on the LSS, and she is so excited to bring another year of fun and innovative fundraising events! Devron Swaby

Academic Outreach Coordinator

Devron is in his second year of Honours Life Sciences. He is excited about being the academic outreach coordinator because this gives him the opportunity to help to support his fellow life science students. In his spare time Devron loves to cook and binge watch medical dramas.

Yara Shaaban

Academic Logistics Coordinator

Yara is in her fourth year of Honours Life Sciences program and is excited to be the Academic Logistics Coordinator for the 2023-2024 school year. In her spare time, she loves reading books, painting, and going on nature walks. One thing she is excited about is running fun and exciting events for LSS this year! She looks forward to meeting everyone and is always available if you have any questions about the Life Sciences program or school in general! :)

Cole Cameron

Social Outreach Coordinator

Cole is in his second year of Honours PNB and can’t wait to be your Social Outreach Coordinator for this year! He’s especially looking forward to organizing amazing events for the Life Science community to enjoy. In his free time, Cole loves reading, listening to music, cooking, and hanging out with his friends. Rachel Serrao

Social Logistics Coordinator

Rachel is in her third year of Honours Life Sciences and is grateful for the opportunity to be the Social Logistics Coordinator for this year. After avidly attending events and getting to know the LSS team during her time at McMaster, Rachel is ecstatic to work with the socials team to help incoming students feel just as welcomed! While she cherishes the knowledge gained from her courses, outside of academics, she has an overwhelming interest in serving marginalized communities through volunteering. She does this while fueling her interests in strength training, graphic design, photography, and all things adventurous. Rachel is more than happy to connect with you if you have any questions about the program, the LSS, or adapting as an international student!

Anushka Goyal

Peer Mentorship Coordinator

Anushka is currently in her fourth year of Honours Psychology, Neuroscience & Behaviour, and is beyond excited to be returning as a member of the LSS this year!! Having started as a first-year representative in her first year and then having been a part of the Socials team for the last two years, she is thrilled to be a peer mentorship coordinator this year and help upper year students connect with newer students!! In her free time, you can find her working through her ever-growing list of shows, movies, and books. She is super excited to meet you all this year, and is always open to have people reach out and chat!!

Mahek Marker

Peer Mentorship Coordinator

Mahek is a fourth-year Honours Life Sciences student excited to join the LSS Executive team as a peer mentorship coordinator. She aims to build strong relationships between upper-year mentors and first-year mentees while making some new friends along the way! Origins of Disease Representative

Elizabeth is in her third year of Honours Life Science Origins of Disease and is looking forward to returning as the OOD rep! Besides planning super fun events for the faculty, she loves reading, going to the gym, and spending time with friends. With a bunch of brand new ideas and goals for connecting to OOD, Elizabeth can’t wait to return to the LSS! She looks forward to meeting everyone this year and is always available to lend an ear and chat!

Mikayla Robinson

Sensory Motor Systems Representative

Mikayla is in her fourth, and final year of Honours Sensory Motor System. She is excited to be the Sensory Motor System Representative again this year! Her goals are to create more of a community within SMS, as well as host events, and be a resource for everyone in the program. A little about Mikayla is that she is a Mac Exchange mentor/ambassador, loves being outside moving her body like hiking, climbing, you name it. Follow @maclifescisms for updates!!

Katey Kwan

Graphic Designer

Katey is in her third year of Honours Life Sciences and is beyond excited to be one of the graphic designers for the LSS this year. Her goal is to design appealing graphics that effectively communicate LSS events and opportunities to the McMaster student community. When Katey isn’t busy with her role, she enjoys listening to music and reading. Rachel Wong

Graphic Designer

Rachel is in her third year of Honours Life Sciences, and cannot wait to be part of the LSS as one of the graphic designers this year. Through her graphics, she is excited to deliver all the LSS news and upcoming events to the rest of the students at McMaster. Outside her studies, she loves listening to music 24/7 and reading up on all her interests. Breanna Khameraj

Talk Show Host

Breanna is currently in her third year of Honours Life Sciences (Co-op) and is beyond excited to be one of your talk show hosts this year!! Alongside her wonderful co-host, Puja Gajjar, Breanna is ecstatic to help amplify the voice of Life Science students and answer the questions we've all been asking. Similar to "Where's Waldo?" Breanna can be spotted at various places on campus- keep an eye out for her neon orange backpack. In her spare time, Breanna enjoys sleeping over everything. However she also enjoys watching anime and painting when she's caught up on sleep. As the other half of talk show hosts, Breanna aims to curate an inclusive and welcoming community that truly delivers the essence of what it means to be a Life Science student. If spotted on campus, do not hesitate to approach her! Breanna loves connecting with other students :) She would love to hear your ideas for a talk show episode, discuss all things Life Science and just chat about anything that interests you! Overjoyed to be one of your talk show hosts, Breanna cannot wait to meet and connect with you all! :)

Puja Gajjar

Talk Show Host

Puja is entering her second year of Honours Life Sciences! She is so excited to be a Talk Show Host for the LSS this upcoming school year! Working with her Co-Host, she is eager to bring adventure and fun to the Life Science student body! You can find her on campus with her iconic pink water bottle, and enjoying the amenities at Pulse! Outside of school, Puja enjoys hiking and origami! As the Talk Show Host, Puja wants to ensure that students have a safe and welcoming platform to voice their thoughts, and enjoy the Life Science lifestyle :) Please feel free to reach out to her if you have any episode ideas, questions or just want to chat! Daniel Robinson

Cinematographer

Daniel is entering his second year of Honours Medical & Biological Physics and is pumped to work with the LSS once again, this year as their cinematographer. He is excited to create content to inform and entertain the many life science students here at McMaster.
