Devena is in her final year of Honours Life Sciences 🔬and can’t wait to connect with all of you amazing LifeScis! She enjoys dancing 💃, singing 🎤, and musical theatre, along with reading and creative writing ✍️!

Abi is in her fourth year of the Honours Biology and Pharmacology 🧫and is very excited to bring all the LSS programming planned for the 2021-22 school year to life! Outside the LSS,  you can find her curled up with a book 📚, singing (@mactreblethreat) 🎤 or binging shows on Netflix. She looks forward to connecting with many more amazing LifeScis this year! 

Administrative Assistant

Alicia is in her fourth year of Honours Life Sciences 🔬and is so excited to help run the LSS events this year and connect with other LifeScis! Her hobbies include baking 🥧, going on hikes and taking videos with her puppy 🐶!

VP Communications

Amaani is in her second year of Honours Life Sciences 🔬and is super excited to be this year’s VP Communications! She enjoys travelling ✈️, riding 🐴, and meeting new people! She is so happy to be part of the LSS team and can’t wait for all of the amazing events planned for this year!

VP Marketing

Nicole is in her last year of Honours Life Science 🔬and minoring in Polisci. She’s so excited to be back this year as VP Marketing. Some of her hobbies include hiking, thriting 🛍 and trying out new coffee shops ☕️! Message her for any questions on Lifesci Hacks or LSS involvement!

VP Academic

Luxiga is in her fourth year of Honours Chemical Biology 🧪 and is very excited to connect with students in the Life Science program again. She enjoys baking 🥧, and binging netflix shows in a day 📺. She is excited to work on the academic ends of things this year and is always open to feedback and suggestions from students.

Abhilash is in his third year of Honours Life Sciences 🔬, and as the VP of Academic he is beyond excited to help meet the goals of students through making a variety of opportunities and resources 💻available. VP Social

Amanda is in her fourth year of Honours Life Sciences 🔬, doing a double minor in biology and psychology. She is beyond excited to join the Life Science Society team as your VP Social! In her free time, you can find Amanda rewatching her favourite shows on Netflix (Brooklynn 99, Parks & Rec, New Girl etc.) 📺, visiting her local coffee shops ☕️or trying to scout out the perfect study spot on campus. She is looking forward to meeting new people, working with her fellow LSS team and creating fun events that students will remember for the rest of their university career! VP Social

Ahmer is in his fourth year of Honours Life Sciences 🔬and is very excited to be part of the social team as your VP of Social! Working his way up from attending LSS events in the past, he has taken on the role of being a part of the Social portfolio in order to meet new people and deliver engaging events. In his free time, he likes to play basketball 🏀, video games 🎮 and watch comedy movies/tv shows. 

VP Finance

Julia is in her 4th year of Honours Life Science, origins of disease specialization 🧬! She is super excited to be joining the LSS this year as the VP Finance. Some of her interests include gymnastics 🤸‍♀️, travelling, Grey’s Anatomy 🩺, and musicals!

VP Fundraising

Amal is in her third year of Honours Life Sciences 🔬and is beyond thrilled to be our VP Fundraising for this year. She looks forward to giving back to the community by achieving the team’s fundraising goals and donating to charities. During her spare time she enjoys reading/writing 📚 , working out, and travelling ✈️! Feel free to reach out to her if you have any questions about her program or McMaster in general :)

Origins of Disease Rep

Armstrong is in his third year of Origin of Diseases Specialization 🧬 and is very happy to be the OOD representative again! He loves to swim 🏊‍♂️, cook, and listen to varieties of music 🎶, and is very excited to meet all of the Life Science students!

Sensory Motor Systems Rep

Rachel is in her final year of the Sensory Motor Systems Specialization 🧬, and she is so excited to be the SMS Representative again this year and connect with all of the students in the specialization:) In her spare time she loves to cook 🌮, read, and play with her kittens 🐱!

Peer Mentorship Coordinator

Gurleen is in her fourth year of Honours Life Sciences 🔬and is also pursuing a minor in Psychology. In her free time, she enjoys dancing 💃🏻, hanging out with friends and scrolling through tiktok 📱! She is looking forward to connecting with more Life Science students and is excited to host events for the LSS Peer Mentorship Program! 

Peer Mentorship Coordinator

Jasmine is in her fourth year of Honours Life Sciences 🔬and is so excited to be an LSS Peer Mentorship Program coordinator this year. She looks forward to connecting with Life Science students and looks forward to meeting you (virtually) at some of our events this year! Outside of school, she enjoys reading 📚, painting and listening to music 🎶!

Academic Outreach Coordinator

Thuvaraha is in her fourth year of Honours Life Sciences 🔬and is super excited to be a part of the LSS family as your Academic Outreach Coordinator! She loves animals 🐶, going on any kind of adventure and trying new foods 🍴. She also loves to meet new people so feel free to message her about any questions.

Academic Logistics Coordinator

Manraj is in his third year of Honours Life Sciences 🔬and is excited to connect with everyone through amazing LSS events this year! His hobbies include reading 📚, working out, and playing sports like volleyball. Recently, he is learning to be a better cook 🧑🏻‍🍳!

Social Outreach Coordinator

Anushka is in her second year of Honours Biology and PNB 🧫, and is super excited to be the Social Outreach Coordinator on the LSS this year! She is looking forward to getting to work with an amazing team to help increase a sense of connection and bonding between Life Sci students and run exciting events! In her downtime, she enjoys watching shows and movies 📺 , reading 📚, and listening to podcasts!

Social Logistics Coordinator

Pierce is in his fourth year of Honours Life Sciences 🔬. As the Social Logistics Coordinator he is excited to connect with all the awesome LifeSci students, and help plan and run exciting events for the LSS this year! In his free-time, some activities he enjoys are tennis 🎾, piano, cooking and photography 📷.

Graphic Designer

Zani is in her last year of Honours Life Sciences 🔬and minoring in psychology. She is thrilled to be joining the LSS this year as the Graphic Designer and help to bring it’s vision to life! Aside from her passion for science illustration, she enjoys working with children, trying new recipes 🌮, and playing badminton 🏸. She is excited to connect with new Life Science students and have an impactful year! Feel free to message her with any questions about her role or McMaster in general!

Deluckshan is in his 3rd year of Honours Life Science sensory motor specialization 🧬and is excited to provide interesting, informative videos as this year’s Cinematographer. He enjoys coding 💻, tinkering with tech and playing video games 🎮.

Alina is in her fourth year of Honours Life Sciences 🔬and is super excited to be your fourth year rep! In her free time she enjoys hanging out with friends, bingeing netflix 📺, and napping 😴 Alina is looking forward to connecting with the Life Sci community virtually and hopefully in person!

Jessica is in her third year of Honours Life Sciences 🔬and is really excited to be your third year rep! In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, karaoke 🎤, baking, trying new foods 🌮, and going on new adventures.
